This Privacy Policy explains how ASTRAFORMA STUDIO collects and uses personal data when you visit www.astraformastudio.com or get in touch with us about a project, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian data protection law.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Edoardo Gherardini, a freelance professional operating under the name ASTRAFORMA STUDIO, VAT No. (P.IVA) 07300860488. For any question about this policy or about your personal data, or to exercise your rights, write to info@astraformastudio.com. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as this is not required for our activity.
2. Data we collect
Contact forms. When you write to us through the contact form we collect your first name, last name, email address and the content of your message. If you tick the option to receive news and updates, we also use your email address to send you studio updates.
Email and project enquiries. If you email us or share briefs, files or references while discussing a project, we process the data contained in those communications.
Usage data. The website is hosted by Squarespace, which collects technical and analytics data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time spent on the site.
Cookies. The site uses cookies and similar technologies, as described in the Cookie Policy below.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data. Please do not include sensitive data in your messages.
3. Why we use your data and legal basis
To reply to your requests and handle project enquiries, including preparing quotes and proposals: art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of a contract).
To send you news and updates about the studio, only if you have given your consent: art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
To keep the site secure and understand in aggregate how it is used: art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent.
To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations: art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Providing the data requested in the contact form is necessary to reply to you. Without it we will not be able to handle your request. We do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.
4. Who receives your data
We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed on our behalf by Squarespace, Inc., our website hosting, forms and analytics provider, and by our email and IT service providers, who act as data processors. Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities when required by law, and to our accountant or professional advisers where necessary.
5. How long we keep your data
Contact requests are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and in any case no longer than 24 months from our last communication, unless a project or contract follows, in which case data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by law (for accounting and tax purposes, up to 10 years). Email addresses collected for news and updates are kept until you withdraw your consent. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the service used.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal. To exercise these rights write to info@astraformastudio.com. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of your country of residence.

Moduli di contatto. Quando ci scrivi tramite il modulo di contatto raccogliamo nome, cognome, indirizzo email e il contenuto del messaggio. Se selezioni l'opzione per ricevere novità e aggiornamenti, utilizziamo il tuo indirizzo email per inviarti aggiornamenti dello studio.
Email e richieste di progetto. Se ci scrivi via email o condividi brief, file o riferimenti nel corso di una trattativa, trattiamo i dati contenuti in tali comunicazioni.
Dati di navigazione. Il sito è ospitato da Squarespace, che raccoglie dati tecnici e statistici come indirizzo IP, tipo di browser e dispositivo, pagine visitate e tempo di permanenza.
Cookie. Il sito utilizza cookie e tecnologie simili, come descritto nella Cookie Policy riportata più sotto.
Non raccogliamo intenzionalmente categorie particolari di dati personali. Ti chiediamo di non includere dati sensibili nei tuoi messaggi.

Alcuni di questi fornitori possono trasferire i dati al di fuori dello Spazio economico europeo, con garanzie adeguate quali le clausole contrattuali standard o il EU-US Data Privacy Framework. I dati possono inoltre essere comunicati ad autorità pubbliche quando previsto dalla legge e al commercialista o a consulenti professionali ove necessario.
5. Periodo di conservazione
Le richieste di contatto sono conservate per il tempo necessario a gestire la richiesta e comunque non oltre 24 mesi dall'ultima comunicazione, salvo che segua un progetto o un contratto: in tal caso i dati sono conservati per la durata del rapporto e per i termini previsti dalla legge (per fini contabili e fiscali, fino a 10 anni). Gli indirizzi email raccolti per novità e aggiornamenti sono conservati fino alla revoca del consenso. I dati statistici sono conservati secondo le impostazioni del servizio utilizzato.
6. I tuoi diritti
Hai il diritto di accedere ai tuoi dati personali, ottenerne la rettifica o la cancellazione, limitarne il trattamento od opporti ad esso, riceverli in un formato portabile e revocare il consenso in qualsiasi momento, senza pregiudicare la liceità del trattamento basato sul consenso prima della revoca (artt. 15-21 GDPR).
